Shakespeare’s Play | In Action Workshop

William Shakespeare is recognized as the greatest  playwright and poet in the world. His plays have been performed across the globe for audiences of all ages. 

He is called “father of English Literature”. That’s why students still study  Shakespeare plays  in classrooms.

Shakespeare is also well known for his powerful portrayal of words. We still hear his famous quotes today.

Frailty, thy name is woman! (Hamlet 1.2)?

Out, out, brief candle, life is but a walking shadow. (Macbeth)

Love is blind and lovers cannot see the pretty follies that themselves commit. (A Merchant of Venice 2.6) 

His play is for performance, not for only reading.

Bard on the Beach , a non-profit organization providing audience with Shakespearean productions of the finest quality will bring an  active, engaging and energetic workshop to us.

It is called In Action workshop.Students will be given first-hand experience to play Shakespeare with the professional teaching artists through the use of voice, movement and acting exercises.

They will do it for us on Sep.9,2018.The first workshop about Shakespeare will be a general introduction.
